Boys Junior Varsity Lacrosse, Boys Varsity Lacrosse · Lacrosse Edges Stow in OT, 6-5


The Bengals Lacrosse team continued their winning ways on Friday night. The Varsity won in a 6-5 double overtime thriller over Stow High School. Highlighting the team’s performance was a last second regulation goal by junior Brandon Quarterman to send the game to overtime. Additional scoring came from 2 goals by junior Justin Sacha, and 1goal and 3 assists by junior Andrew Rini. Senior Mark Armen was responsible for the remaining two goals, including the game winner, in sudden death! Special recognition should be given to the Bengals defense for a very strong performance, led junior Matt Laurienzo in goal. The team is now 3-0 on the season.

The J.V. continued a strong start to their season improving to 2-0 by winning 6-2 over Stow on Friday night, as well. Michael Immarino in goal, and Henry Jacobs, through the midfield led the effort.

Both teams will be in action on Tuesday night at Brecksville Broadview Hts. H.S. J.V. at 5:30. Varsity at 7:15pm. Brave the elements and come out to support the lacrosse team, on a day off from school.
