Boys Varsity Swimming · Faulisi Takes 1st at NCL Diving Championship

Yesterday, February 1st Bengal Freshman, Luke Faulisi missed hockey practice to compete at Midpark in the North Coast League (NCL) Diving Competition.  Luke dove his way to 409.75 total points earning 1st place in the NCL and a district invitation on his way to a state berth.

Luke, is a defenseman on our hockey team too.  Luke had some press earlier in the month in the January 15th, News Herald.

“Freshmen are logging key shifts for Benedictine coach Joe Primiano, whose team was 8-9-2 after an 8-1 win Jan. 14 over Chagrin Falls at the NDCL Winter Invitational.

“Luke Faulisi is a great little defenseman — small guy, but a ton of heart,” Primiano said. “And he has been playing great for us — exceeded all of my expectations for the year.”

The Bengal community is looking forward to his continued success in the pool and on the ice.
