Golf Season Ends @ Shawnee Hills

The 2014 golf season concluded on Tuesday when the Bengals competed against Trinity and Lake Ridge. The Bengals defeated Lake Ridge, but lost to Trinity. The Bengals shot a 197 (foursome) on the day.

Soccer Wins at VASJ, 2-0.

The soccer team, lead by Chris DiFrancesco’s two goals, defeated VASJ 2-0 on Tuesday evening. The Bengals will next compete on Tuesday, October 7, at Bossu Field vs. Warren John F. Kennedy.

Soccer Wins 5-0 at Bedford

The Bengals defeated the Bearcats on Monday night, 5-0. Chris DiFrancesco (3 goals), John Dosen, and Matt Brodsky led the way for the Bengals. They will return to action on Tuesday at VASJ at 4:30PM.

Cross Country Finishes in 11th

Bengals Hold Off Eagles, 34-24

The Varsity football team improved their record to 4-1 by defeating Columbus Bishop Watterson on Friday night, 34-24. Freshmen Football Improve to 5-0

The Freshmen football team improved to 5-0 with a 36-13 victory over Aurora on Thursday night. The Bengals were led offensively by Levi Pokersnik, Eric Cross, Michael Lacey, Pat Fleming, and Malik Tucker. The Bengals offensive line and entire defensive unit provided a strong performance, as well. The freshmen will next compete on Thursday, October


The Benedictine vs. Columbus Bishop Watterson Varsity football game will be played at 100 East Arcadia Avenue Columbus Ohio 43214 (Hagely Field) at 7:30PM. The field is not on the school’s property. The parking lot is limited and fans will have to find a spot in the neighborhood once the lot is full.

Baker Selected as Army All-American

Senior Jerome Baker has been selected as an Army All-American. Jerome received his official invitation at an all school assembly on Tuesday morning. Baker was selected as one of only 90 high school football players to compete in this national game. The game will be played in San Antonio, TX on Saturday, January 3.

The Bengals were defeated by Holy Name, 4-1, on Tuesday night. The Bengals return to action on Thursday at West Geauga for a JV and Varsity contest at 5:00PM and 7:00PM.
