Bengal Bowlers Win Sectionals!

The Varsity Bowling Team put on a fine performance coming in first and winning the Northeast Sectional OHSAA Tournament. The Bengals will Advance to the District Championships on Saturday, February 22 at 12PM at Riviera Lanes in Akron. Congratulations and Good Luck!

2 Bengal Relays Advance to States!

Two Bengal Swimming Relay units will compete in this weekend’s Swimming State Championships. Bengals Fall to Lake Catholic, 81-73

The Bengals were defeated 81-73 by Lake Catholic’s strong guard play. The #25 Cougars were led by Zavier Power’s 29 points. Sophomore, Justin Layne, led all Bengals with 23 points. The Bengals return to action on Friday, February 14 vs. Walsh Jesuit at Trueman Memorial Fieldhouse.

Congratulations goes out to two Bengal seniors who signed their National Letters of Intent to continue their academic and athletic careers. Hockey Falls to Avon 2-0

The Bengals Hockey Team was defeated by Avon 2-0 in the first round of the Baron Cup II Tournament. Joe Houser led the Bengals with 36 saves. Hockey Splits Games over weekend

The Bengal Hockey team split their two contests over the weekend. The Bengals were defeated on Saturday night by Cleveland Heights, 7-2. Swimming finishes Runner-Up at Conference Championships

The Swim team finished up 2nd in the conference at the NCL Championships held Saturday, February 1, at Lakewood Pool. Results from the meet can be found below: How they finished: 1. Swim Team Defeats Padua and West Geagua

The swimming team kept on their winning ways by defeating Padua, 61-32  and West Geauga, 62-34. The swimmers will next compete on Saturday at 2PM at the North Coast League Championships. The event will take place at Lakewood Pool.

Benedictine Hockey vs. Mayfield @ Gilmour is Cancelled.

Due to inclement weather, the Benedictine hockey team’s game vs. Mayfield at Gilmour on January 28 at 5:30PM has been cancelled. This game will be made up on Sunday, Feb. 2 at 8:30AM at Gilmour Academy.
