The Bengals got off to a great start in the Cleveland Heights Holiday Hockey Tournament. The Bengals defeated NDCL in round 1 of competition, 9-1. The Benedictine Hockey team competed in the Kent Tournament this past weekend. The Bengals finished the tournament with a 2-2 record by defeating the Great Lakes Freeze in both games. The Varsity Basketball Team defeated NDCL on Friday night, 80-73. The Bengals escaped the victory in overtime. The Bengals were lead by Jordan Philpotts 32 points, RJ Jones 19 points, and DeAndre’ Penny’s 11 points. The Freshmen Basketball team defeated Lake Catholic on Tuesday night, 51-40. The Bengals were lead by Landon Robinson’s 14 points.
The Benedictine Swim Team continued its winning ways on Tuesday. The Bengals beat Cleveland Heights 105 to 65. Benedictine finished first in two relays. The Benedictine High School Varsity Hockey team split a pair of contests on Saturday and Sunday. The Bengals started the weekend off with a victory over NDCL on Saturday defeating the Lions, 6-2.
