The Bengals defeated the state’s #8 team, Kirtland, 8-5. Spencer Furlich led the Bengals on the mound while sophomore Connor O’Donnell hit a two run home run. The JV also beat Kirtland. The varsity baseball team split a pair of NCL contests on Monday and Tuesday. The Bengals defeated Padua 2-1 on a walk-off single by senior Jaret Glassman. Baseball Defeats Euclid; Falls to Eastlake North

The Varsity baseball team defeated Euclid on Wednesday, 14-1. The next day, however, the Bengals fell to Eastlake North 3-2. Marlon Moore pitched a complete game in the loss. The Bengals return to action on Monday at Nobby’s Field vs. Walsh Jesuit at 5:00PM.

The Bengals have played 4 games in 3 days winning three of the four. The Bengals defeated Valley Forge on a walk-off single by Dan Keenan on Saturday, 7-6. On Sunday, the Bengals split contests with Cleveland Heights (7-1) and Bedford (4-2). The Bengals returned home on Monday to defeat NCL opponent NDCL, 12-5. Stay

In a back and forth game, the Bengals defeated Valley Forge in the bottom of the 7th. With the bases loaded, sophomore Dan Keenan hit a walk-off single for the win. The Bengals return for a double header today at League Park at 11:00AM and 1:30PM vs. Cleveland Heights and Bedford.  

Bengals Defeat Ravenna, 4-0, Advance to District Semi-Finals

The varsity baseball program captured the school’s 40th sectional baseball championship with a 4-0 victory over Ravenna. The team was led by senior John Smenda who pitched a complete game shutout. The Bengals will face Chagrin Falls in the District Semi-Final on Thursday, May 19 @ Euclid High School. Come on out and support!
