Due to inclement weather, the JV/Varsity basketball games vs. Walsh Jesuit on Saturday, February 21 have been cancelled. Stay tuned for an announcement of when these games will be made up.


The JV/Varsity Basketball game with Walsh Jesuit originally scheduled for Friday, February 20 has been Cancelled. These game will be made up on Saturday, February 21 at 2:30PM (JV) and 4:00PM (Varsity) at Benedictine High School.


The Freshmen basketball game vs. St. Eds on Saturday, February 14 has been cancelled. The JV and Varsity is still scheduled for 6:00PM.

Bengals Defeat NDCL, 51-47.

The Bengals overcame a comeback attempt by Notre Dame Cathedral Latin to win 51-47. Sophomore Marlon Moore led all Bengals with 14 points. The Bengals return to action on Friday, February 13 vs. Lake Catholic at Trueman Memorial Fieldhouse.

Bengals Defeat Lake Catholic, 70-60.

The Bengals overcame two weekend losses to defeat Lake Catholic on Monday evening. Justin Layne and Marlon Moore paced the Bengals offensively with 23 and 18, respectively. The Bengals next play tonight at Revere at 6:00PM.

Basketball vs. Lake Catholic Canceled

The basketball game at Lake Catholic has been canceled due to inclement weather on 1/9/2015. The game’s makeup date will be on Monday, January 19th @ Lake Catholic beginning with the JV at 6:00PM.    

Bengals Basketball pick up 3 Wins over Weekend

The Bengals basketball program picked up three wins vs. Hawken on Saturday. Jamari Patterson led the Bengals Varsity with a career high 14 points. The varsity stats can be found below. 1ST QUAR           2ND QUAR        3RD QUAR           4TH QUAR      FINAL

Benedictine Basketball Improves to 2-1

The Bengals improved to 2-1 with a 64-48 victory over NDCL on Friday Night. The Bengals had early success and maintained a comfortable lead through the game. The Bengals next return to action on Monday vs. Youngstown Cardinal Mooney at Home. The freshmen will tip off at 4:30PM.   1ST QUAR            2ND QUAR   

Bengals Fall to St. Ignatius, 54-51.

In a hard fought battle, the Bengals lost to St. Ignatius 54-51. Freshman Marlon Moore and Sophomore Justin Layne paced the Bengals offensively with 20 and 15 points, respectively.
