Sacha Selected to Ohio Senior All-Star Game

Justin Sacha has been selected to the Ohio Senior All-Star Game sponsored by the Ohio Machine of the Major League Lacrosse. The team is made-up of the top 20 seniors in the North. Lacrosse Defeats NDCL, 13-6

The varsity lacrosse team defeated NDCL, 13-6, on Wednesday evening improving their record to 5-2. In addition, the Bengals JV defeated NDCL 11-4. Both teams return to action next Wednesday @ Bossu Field at 4:00PM vs. Lake Catholic.  

Lacrosse falls to Holy Name, 12-10

Lacrosse was defeated by Holy Name, 12-10, on Thursday evening. The Bengals return to action at Bossu Field on Wednesday, April 5 vs. Orange at 4:45PM.

Lacrosse defeats SVSM, 12-4

The Bengals improved their record to 3-1 with a 12-4 victory over St. Vincent St. Mary on Tuesday evening. JV Lacrosse won their first game of the year against the Irish, 5-1. Varsity lacrosse heads to Holy Name @ North Royalton stadium on Thursday at 7:00PM for their next contest.

Lacrosse 2-0 Over the Weekend

The Bengals lacrosse team improved their record to 2-1 over the weekend. The Bengals defeated Berea- Midpark,14-3 on Friday evening. On Saturday, the Bengals traveled to Riverside and won 15-2. The JV/V return to action on Tuesday vs. SVSM at 4:45PM. The games will be played at Bossu Field.

Lacrosse Ties School Record with 14 Wins

Congratulations to the Varsity Lacrosse team on their 7th victory in a row on Friday night. The Bengals, on senior night, defeated Green High School 16-10. Benedictine finished the regular season tying the program record for wins in a season, with a 14-3 record overall. The state tournament kicks off this Thursday on Bossu Field

Lacrosse Defeats Padua, Become NCL Co-Champions!

The Bengal  lacrosse program had a big evening last night, defeating Padua, 12-6 to wrap up conference play for the year. The victory marked BHS’s 6th win in a row, improving to 13-3 overall, and more importantly, clinched a share of the North Coast League title! This is the 3rd Conference Championship in 4 yrs. The Varsity Lacrosse team defeated NCL rival Archbishop Hoban 6-4 yesterday, on Bossu Field. The win was the third in a row for the squad, who improved their record to 10-3 overall. The program’s next contest is this Friday on the road, at Cardinal Mooney. JV at 5:30, Varsity at 7:15.
