Lacrosse Defeats Brecksville, 7-6

Congrats to the Varsity lacrosse team on their thrilling double overtime victory, 7-6 over Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School. The Bengals are now 9-3 overall on the year. Lacrosse defeats Brunswick, 4-3

The Lacrosse team defeated Brunswick, 4-3, on Friday evening. The Bengals scores came from Brandon Quarterman, Justin Sacha, Andrew Rini, and Jeremy Bilek. Matt Laurienzo and the defense of Chris Storrs, Anthony DiPio, and Brandon Kelly contributed significantly in the victory. Lacrosse Defeats Lake Catholic, 15-5

The Bengals improved to 6-2 overall on the year with a 15-5 win over North Coast League rival Lake Catholic High School. Special recognition to Senior Tyler Wainwright for scoring his 1st varsity goal. The Bengals return to action on Friday at Brunswick beginning with the JV at 5:30PM.    

Lacrosse Splits Week’s Contests

The Varsity lacrosse team went 1-1 last week and improved their record to 5-1. The team defeated NDCL and took it’s first loss versus Westlake. The JV’s also improved their record to 4-1. Both teams are on the road Monday evening @ Westlake for a 5:00PM face off.

Lacrosse Edges Stow in OT, 6-5

The Bengals Lacrosse team continued their winning ways on Friday night. The Varsity won in a 6-5 double overtime thriller over Stow High School. Highlighting the team’s performance was a last second regulation goal by junior Brandon Quarterman to send the game to overtime. Additional scoring came from 2 goals by junior Justin Sacha, and

Lacrosse JV/V Win Over Orange

The JV and Varsity Lacrosse teams improved their seasons to 2-0 and 1-0, respectively. The Bengals varsity defeated Orange, 14-7. The Bengals JV won 5-4 in overtime. The Bengals will next compete on Friday at 4:45PM and 6:15PM at Bossu Field vs. Stow.

Lacrosse Starts Year with OT Victory over Holy Name

The Bengals kicked off the year with an 11-10 overtime victory over Holy Name. The Bengals scored in the first minute of the extra period to win the contest. The team returns to Bossu Field on Tuesday at 4:30PM vs. Orange. Come on out and support the Bengals. $5 admission at the gate.

Bengals Lacrosse Advances in State Playoffs

The Bengals lacrosse team advanced in the state playoffs with an 11-3 victory over Canton Central Catholic. The Bengals move on to face the #1 team in the region, Chagrin Falls, on Friday, May 22 at 6:30PM. This week Bengals Defensemen Ron Moner and Chris Storrs were named 1st and 2nd team all region, respectively.
