Swimming: 3-0 to start the year

The Benedictine swim team took a 6th place finish at the Bay Rocket Relays on Saturday. On Tuesday and Thursday, the Bengals defeated Lake Catholic 104-26, Padua 83-28, and NDCL 69-48. The team returns to the pool next Saturday in Canton at the Northeast Christmas Classic.

13 PR’s Set at Cloverleaf Invitational

The Swimming Team had a respectable performance at last week’s Cloverleaf Invitational held at Wooster High School by improving times in 13 events! The Bengals were paced on the afternoon by Freshmen Lawrence Rummel who placed 3rd in the 500M. The team will return to action on Saturday at the Elyria Catholic Pentathlon at 1:30PM.

Pacak Places 6th at State Championships!

Senior Tom Pacak, the school’s lone district champion, placed 6th in the 200M Freestyle at this weekend’s DII State Swimming Championships. In addition, Tom placed 14th in the 500M on Friday night. Tom broke school records in both events. Congratulations, Tom!
