In a defensive battle, the Bengals came up short to Columbus Bishop Watterson, 10-7. The Bengals lone score came on a 34 yard pass completion to sophomore Devon Fox in the second quarter. The Bengals fell in their 2016 opening campaign to Youngstown Ursuline, 33-32. Offensively, the Bengals were led by DeCavilon Reese’s 141 yards rushing and 2 TDs.
