The Bengals Hockey Team opened their season with a challenging start at the Tim Alexander Tournament in Rocky River, falling 9–3 to Avon Lake in the opener. Despite the tough loss, the team showed impressive resilience and bounced back quickly.

In their nightcap matchup, the Bengals delivered a poised and disciplined performance, shutting out St. Ignatius with a 2–0 victory. Senior goaltender Jeremy Ade was exceptional between the pipes, recording a shutout and making several key saves to keep the Wildcats off the scoreboard.

The momentum carried into Saturday, where the Bengals defeated Holy Name 6–2 to close out the weekend. Though they started the game slowly, likely feeling the effects of a long tournament stretch, the team soon found its stride. Junior Max Roulet powered the offense with his first hat trick of the season, showcasing why he is expected to be a major contributor this year. Ade continued his strong play in net, helping the Bengals maintain control throughout the game.
After a rocky beginning, the Bengals finished the tournament on a high note, securing third place and building confidence for the season ahead.
