Bengals pick up two dual victories

The Benedictine Bengals wrestling team went a perfect 2–0 at Truman Memorial Fieldhouse, delivering an impressive night on the mat. The Bengals edged the Madison Bluestreaks, 42–33, before dominating the Shaw Cardinals, 61–12.
A key storyline for Benedictine was the return of John Paul Hatgas and John Jones Jr., both stepping back into competition after recovering from injuries. The duo made an immediate impact, each finishing the night with a pair of victories.
Hatgas and Jones Jr. were joined by Devion Coffin, Jayzahn Jones, Kyle McNeely, Gabe Dolan, and Shepard Charlton, who also went 2–0 on the evening to help secure the sweep.
The Bengals will be back in action on January 31st at the Hoban Invitational.
