2026 NCC Championship Recap

At the North Coast Conference Championship, the Bengals scored in 15 of 17 events. 14 different athletes
scored to help the Bengals take 6th place overall and gave a strong showing for a team full of
underclassmen and a handful of seniors and juniors. 14 personal bests were made, and the Bengals had
five all-conference athletes across four events.

The highlight of the meet for the Bengals was a stunning 4x100 m Relay comeback to win first place (First Team North Coast Conference) for the group of Earl Jackson, Kai Caldwell, Glenn Hughes, and Corde Blair. Caleb O’Brien cleared a personal best of 5’8” in the High Jump, taking second place and earning Second Team North Coast Conference honors. Earning
Third Team North Coast Conference honors, Corde Blair took third place in the 100m Dash, and the 4x200m Relay team of Earl Jackson, Kellen Whaley, Corde Blair, and Kai Caldwell placed third as well.
